leavin’, on a jet plane…

Now this I am excited about!! I’ve been talking about it for ages, and now, I’m locking it in and getting ready to pack my bags – it’s travel time! I will be photographing family portrait sessions in Adelaide in late 2012/early 2013. I’m just put the finishing touches on my exclusive Adelaide packages, so if you would like to be first in line to secure a spot when they are released later this week, drop me a line at rachel@rachelmeszaros.com.au.

With enough interest, I am looking at coming home via Melbourne, so if you are in Melbourne and interested in a session, let me know and I’ll add you to the waiting list!

I would also love to photograph a wedding in one of these gorgeous cities, so if you are planning a summer wedding in the southern cities, I’d love to hear from you!

Violet :: {newborn}

A tiny bundle, wrapped in a white towel, nestled in daddy’s arms, greeted me at the door as I begin unloading the various bags and props for Violet’s newborn portraits. Only nine days old, and it’s clear that she has her mummy and daddy very firmly around her little finger. And I can’t say I blame them… Miss V is just adorable! A few of my favourites – (more over on the Facebook page)

Maisie :: newborn

At two weeks old, Maisie seemed so tiny, in my mind, anyway. Having just left my three small people, the youngest of which is now 11 months, to head to Warialda for Maisie’s newborn portraits, she was a featherweight as she curled up on my chest after being offered a cuddle. Quite the surprise I got to find she was over 8lb born!

Dan and Sam, thanks so much for having me out, I had a lovely afternoon hanging with you and getting some cuddles with your beautiful baby girl.

Fans of the Facebook page will have already seen this one:

Brand new.

One of the loveliest things about shooting a maternity session is the knowledge that I will soon get to meet and photograph a brand new little person. So I was just thrilled to hear from Megan that she had a brand new baby boy!

For someone who is supposed to sleep 23 hours a day, he was awfully awake!

Finally, in the comfort of mummy’s arms, he drifted off

(notice the new frames/watermarks? More about that later in the week!)
