Harry {brand new} :: Inverell newborn photography

One of my favourite parts of my job is seeing families as they grow and change. I first met the Gadd family a few years back, when I photographed their eldest as a newborn, at 6 months, her first birthday cake smash, and then their second daughter’s maternity photos, newborn & 6 month photos. A couple of weeks ago, I caught up with them again to take some photos to celebrate the arrival of their brand new baby son.

These two are fabulous big sisters who love him to bits (maybe too much at times, if you could ask him!)blog--001e

I love when families include items with special significance. This sweet little teddy bear belonged to Master H’s grandfather.blog--009e

Ah, sweet sleepy babies. My favourite kind.

He knew something was going on, and the sleep thing didn’t last long, but look at those big eyes! Who can resist an awake baby when they are this adorable?

We won in the end though. For a while at least.blog-9227-008e

And then we finished off with a cute hat and some blanketsharryweb

Isn’t he adorable? I love photographing babies, and getting to sneak a cuddle – perk of the job! I’m pretty much wound down now for 2015 sessions, but am currently taking bookings for 2016. Drop me a line, I’d love to hear all about your little people.

Anna & Anthony {Moree wedding}

I can’t think of a better way to get back into blogging my recent session, than with Anna & Anthony’s beautiful wedding. If you don’t follow me on Facebook, you may have missed their gorgeous farm engagement session back in June. Earlier this month, Moree turned on it’s best weather for my first wedding for the 2015/16 season.  I knew it was going to be an awesome day when I walked into the motel and discovered Anna is a girl after my own Austen-loving heart:

I love personal touches in weddings, and they don’t come much sweeter than this addition to Anna’s bouquet – her “something blue”, a beautiful ring gifted by her soon-to-be-mother-in-law stitched onto her bouquet:bouquet of flowers - Moree wedding

By “beat weathr”, of course, I mean stinking hot, as only Moree can be in October. It could have been worse though – while I was dressed in dark colours, I did have short sleeves, unlike these dapper gentlemen I found when I arrived at St Xavier’s Catholic Church:Moree groom and grromsmen outside St Xaviers Catholic Church

After the ceremony we headed back to the same location we shot their engagement photos, and revisited some favourite spots:blog-6921-007-2edit

And found some new ones as well:

Congratulations Anthony & Anna, it was such a pleasure to be a part of your special day.

IHS Formal {access update}

It’s been brought to my attention that some people are having issues accessing the formal photos website. It is unclear why this is happening, as it seems it be quite intermittent – the site is working from my end, and with all of the people I have asked to test it. If you are having problems, can you please either comment here and I can inbox you the details, or send me an email at rachel(at)rachelmeszaros.com.au

I apologise for any inconvenience.

Emma and Josh {engaged}

On a cool autumn afternoon, I grabbed my thickest jacket, and made the trek to Armidale to catch up with Emma and Josh to scope out their locations for their November wedding. And aside from me having a blonde moment, and calling Emma, Amie, we had a great time exploring the grounds of Saumarez Homestead and shooting some engagement photos.

Paige {year 12}

The final stop on the year 12 mini session blogging list is Paige. A huge thank you these four beautiful girls for coming along for a mini session. These sessions are a great way to get some relaxed portraits before the end of school and heading out into the big wide world – for many, it may be the last professional photo session until they marry! If you or someone you know is interested, drop me a line for more info – rachel{at}rachelmeszaros.com.au

Annie-Jane {year 12 2012}

I had the chance to meet up with an awesome group of girls a few weeks back for the first round of year 12 mini-sessions for 2012, and we played around with some fun locations and ideas. I’m finally getting around to blogging them! This first set is from Annie Jane’s session, where we had fun incorporating her love of ballet into the shoot.

More to come soon! {waiting list is now open for May/June mini sessions – for more information, email rachel@rachelmeszaros.com.au}
